In addition to a general psychiatric practice, MCA, in cooperation with the Simonton Cancer Center, offers services in Psycho Oncology and mind-body medicine. The Simonton Cancer Center has been in existence for over 30 years under the leadership of Dr. O. Carl Simonton, radiation oncologist and internationally recognized pioneer of Psycho Oncology.

Research shows that such interventions increase survival and decrease tumor growth. This program is also effective for persons with multiple sclerosis and other chronic, life-threatening diseases. In addition to individual, family or group sessions, you can also participate in six-day retreat sessions held at a beautiful conference center located in Montecito ( Santa Barbara County ).
